Jones Day is giving its newly qualified lawyers a pay rise.
Last month the firm
announced that its first seat trainees would see their pay packets rise from £39,000 to £41,000. And today it confirmed that NQs would get a similar rise, from £70,000 to £72,500. It's also retaining all of its eight qualifying trainees. If you're out drinking with them this evening, it's their round.

Recession? What recession?
