Pinsent Masons has confirmed that a number of staff are facing redundancy.
A spokesman said that 40 were at risk, although insiders put the number at 45. It's off the back of the recent merger with McGrigors - the firm said that "as with any merger, there are a number of duplicate roles within our support teams and as such we have identified a small number of potential redundancies in those areas
The cuts will hit the firm's business support departments, including BD, HR, IT and Facilities. Apparently staff have been given just five days to apply for contested roles, roles marked as vacant or apply for voluntary redundancy.
