Balham has a fantastic mezzo/Turkish barbecue place that does good kebabs if you fancy something reasonably dirty at the weekend.

Dude. Do you ever go anywhere other than Balham..I genuinely reckon you're trying to promote the hell out of the place to anyone who will listen to bump up prices so you can sell and move somewhere nice in North London.

I eat at the same restaurants in London most nights: Scott's, No. 35, J. Sheekey, Mark's Club, Harry's Bar, or Cut at 45 Park Lane. If I am meeting someone for drinks first, I always like to go to the Fumoir at Claridge's. My favorite evenings are actually spent at home.

Until it burned down it used to be Dionysus on Tottenham Court Road.

I think I know the one you mention Sailaw and it is epic.

Roti Joupa in Clapham does a banging jerk chicken.

The food market in petticoat lane has the falafel of the gods.

But for all your fast food reviewing needs:

Hot salt beef bagel with gherkin and mustard, from Beigel Bake in Brick Lane. I wouldn't call it 'junk food', but I think it's what you're after..

Ner I can also be found in Clapham, Tooting, Streatham, Wandsworth, Earlsfield and every now and then if visiting particularly posh friends just north of the river. Once a year I get my vaccinations and go and visit family out beyond Kilburn.

Hate to disappoint you but if moving in London will go further south and east.

Pump in shoreditch, there's an argentinian stall that does a fantastic steak and chips with chimichurri (pricey at a tenner and I imagine it doesn't taste as good when not three sheets to the wind) but if you've had a few it's a definite must.

Was a great place. Shame about the Crossrail CPO.

Tragi-heh @ Matty name-dropping restaurants.

Who does he go to all these places with? I thought he had no friends?

Dionysus was brill!

If curry counts - which it should - then it starts and ends with Regency Club in Kingsbury
