How about office busyness-off.

"I've very busy!"
"So am I."
"I've been working all hours."
"I haven't seen the kids for 4 weeks."
"I had a nervous breakdown at my desk."

I was thinking about an excuse-off. Starting with avoiding building a particle accelerator and finishing up with a nearby wedding of a boorish friend of the other half (who inexplicably considers them hilarious, and is desperate to go)

how about we have a 1950s Off where people like Cam suggest common tasks which are apparently only for women. Sorry, "ladies".

ahem Booko!
I was asked "Could I go on the car fix off as a female contestant"?
thus for the question asked by the questioner, it was necessary to include a gender element in the response.
Had the question been "Could I go on car fix off as a contestant", test (a) would have been irrelevant and not included.
