Not just car wow
Vw forced me to take a loan as it was 4k more to pay cash...i just paid loan off after a month

I expect its recurring revenue rather than spikes?

Apparently one possible reason is that the terms of the loan force you to use particular dealers for maintenance.

It's do to with commission I suspect.

It's a common misconception than car showrooms are there to sell cars. They're actually there as the frond end of a securitisation business.

Have you looked at drivethedeal ? They normally spell out what part of the discount is dependent on taking finance, and how it varies across spec levels for a given model.

Oh and i want a petrol estate as i live in inner London and don't want to add to the crappy air too much. There aren't many decent second hand petrol estates on the market.

I think it's closer to what Keith said, there is seemingly a thriving market in securitisation of PCP (and presumably HP) loans. Plus the finance is nearly always interest bearing.

FWIW I used carwow buying new last year.
