It's not about the autistic children appreciating it, it's about other children recognising that some children are different and play differently and approach things differently.

Elmo isn't exactly the full ticket so I think kids are well used to muppets that are 'different'

up to the age of 10 they're fine. Secondary school makes them in to monsters.
really. I love my 8yo. the teenagers not so much.
