I went on a date with a reasonably nice guy in February 2015. I say reasonably nice because I can't remember it that much, given that it was over 2 years ago and that I have been on dates with circa 648 men since then.

We went for dinner some place nice. The chat was acceptable. There was a good night kiss that was fairly good (I think) and there was talk of another date. I remember thinking that he was definitely worth a second date but I wasn't blown away. That is probably a good sign because nothing ends well in those situations.

He texted a few days later to apologise that whilst he liked me blah blah blah he wasn't as ready for dating as he thought and so it would go no further. I was gracious, left it there, forgot all about him very quickly. In fact think I got back together with exmeh days afterwards but anywho.

Fast forward to April 2017 and I absent mindedly swiped yes to him on one of the apps. He would like a second date, says that oddly he still really remembers our first date really well (at least someone does) and all the compliments.

The pros that I can remember are that he lives a 10-15 min walk from me and is minted. The cons are that he wasn't terribly tall and that he wasn't sufficiently bowled over by my fabulousness to see me again in 2015.

Should I give him a second chance? RoF decides....

Defo yes as you recall wanting to see him again and doubt what you want has changed that much in 2 years - maybs he really wasn't ready to date -if it was an excuse he wouldn't have swiped right.
Do it.
And report back.
