You are not wrong but I can't see it happening. Loyalty talks but money shouts.

Talk to a Spanish football fan, and from outside Madrid or Catgaluyna and ask him who s/he supports. Provided he is not a Basque (or an Atletico fan) he will 3 times out of 4 reply something like "Celta Vigo (or other local team who have never won anything) [then slight pause] and depending on his origin, will usually add "and" 'Real Madrid' or 'Barcelona'

No effing Crystal Palace fan says "and Manchester United"
