Is it a rollover?

I would still Rof in between racing my super yacht just to let you all know I was still alive and well.

You have further ambitions in that area, Buzz...? Blimey - dedication to the cause, and all that...

Laz's khuntstyle thread was one of the funniest that I read on Rof.

Depends what I am doing then. Once I had got over it and got into my new life I might jump on here occasionally...

My RoF activity would no doubt increase as I would need to consult with you all on a very regular basis about the best high end residential areas in Bristol (amongst other places) and the relative merits of period vs. new build properties.

Would people bother keeping it quiet or would you be tug-lite? Maybe tell people a family member won it and sorted you or say you won quite a bit less than you did?

I suppose you also have the inheritance or the company you seeded 20 years that just got bought. Not sure either of those would be plausible if you gave up work and lived proper khuntstyle.

You always see articles about working class people winning but I can only think of one professional winner. But there must have been some more.

Spadea I think the professionals who win tend to tick the no publicity box and quietly invest the money and enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.

Yes I'm sure they do, but what do you tell people around you? For example I am a pretty middling London professional, I have a £1.2m house, a second hand Audi and 2 children in the local primary. If I suddenly move into a £6m house with several sweet rides out front and put the kids in private having quit work, people will wonder do you not think?

Yes which is why you stay put and pay off the mortgage or move to a slightly nicer house and mutter about the size of the mortgage when in fact you paid cash. You set up some kind of business of your own like say property investment and slowly reduce your hours in your day job before doing that full time. You tell your friends the portfolio is heavily leveraged when it's not. You buy a couple of new cars and say they were part paid for by an inheritance from a random relative, etc.

If you don't want people to notice you don't immediately splash the cash.

All very sensible Sailers but basically you are saying you can win £150m but you still can't live khuntstyle?

You can eventually but have to build up to it and say a couple of investments paid off, etc. Other option is you move and tell your family but your new friends will just assume you've always been loaded.
