A US attorney has created a magnificent advert in which he stars as "Law Hawk".

With a limited budget Law Hawk, known to his mum as Bryan Wilson, manages to include all the ingredients for a good Texas law firm commerical: explosions, the American flag and a hawk.

For those unable to watch, the advert begins with a hawk wrapped in the Stars and Stripes. It is a stirring image bound to win over patriots in need of legal representation for taking potshots at Mexicans. For unexplained reasons the hawk suddenly explodes, Wilson shouts "Texas Law Hawk" and the camera zooms in on his face as he snarls, "Talons of justice".

After a bored-looking hawk screeches without opening its beak, WIlson growls "They call me the Law Hawk", yells "Go Law Hawk!", nods "Law Hawk", and then leaps off a ledge declaring "I'm the Law Hawk".

After Wilson clarifies for the very slow that "I'm the Texas Law Hawk", the advert cuts to a policeman stopping some drunks in a car. Before the cop can run roughshod over their rights, Law Hawk sprints out of the shadows groaning in fury. After stopping to point out that "Somebody just called the Law Hawk", he kicks the cop's laptop right out of his hands.

In a bizarre finale Wilson tries to smash a branch over a concrete wall.

Undeterred by the tree's unexpected resilience, Wilson croaks "Call the Law Hawk", his logo bursts into flames and for good measure he cries "Texas Law Hawk" one more time.

Unlike the lawyer who advertised himself as the best person ever, Wilson doesn't demonstrate a wide range of skills, and his use of fire doesn't hold a candle to the lawyer who smashed up his brother's grave with a flaming hammer. But Law Hawk's strong use of repetition ensures Law Hawk will lodge in the minds of proud Americans and bird fans alike.
