A video has been circulating this week of Allen & Overy partners performing a raunchy dance routine.

The firm has just had its biennial Global Partners' Conference in Dubai, and partners from each office had to perform a song and dance routine in front of their peers. This marked a cost effective departure from 2010, when the yoof group "Diversity" was hired to gyrate in front of hundreds of bemused partners whose normal idea of a big night out is a sixty page intercreditor agreement.

But apparently the partners' performances were very good, and in particular the offering from the firm's Amsterdam office which was described as "very raunchy" by one attendee. The acts were filmed and posted on A&O's internal network for others to enjoy. Although sadly not for RollOnFriday, which has been unable to obtain a copy and so can't verify whether it compares to Hogan Lovells' John Young's outstanding silver bodysuit display.

A spokesman for the firm politely declined a request for a copy of the video, saying that he was actually quite keen to keep his job. However any readers without such prosaic concerns should feel free to send it to the usual place.

I can tell you the video is pure gold. On par with Richard Hough's "The Deal" clip.
