A man has taken his dominatrix business partner to court, alleging that she forced him to hand over all his shares in their BDSM company.
Stephen Dawson handed over his shares to Laura Bell, his dominatrix former-lover-turned-business-partner. But, in the perfect definition of irony, he claims the contract was signed under duress.
Dawson was originally a client of Bell's. Then they started going out and with their shared 'interests' they started a BDSM business together creating female domination videos. Bell starred in them, and they were made available online to subscribers for a monthly fee.
Judge Havelock-Allan QC pointed out that “assessing the credibility of a claimant who has a fetish for female domination and claims to have been the victim of duress and intimidation is not easy”. He added that “assessing the credibility of a defendant who denies threatening behaviour, but who has made a career as a dominatrix and appearances in female domination videos is not easy, either”.
