The barrister who was filmed swearing at a group of children has been summarily deleted from his chambers' website.

Richard Hearnden, a barrister at Furnival Chambers in Holborn, was caught on camera berating a group of 15-year-olds after they tried to retrieve a football from his property.

In the footage posted on YouTube, Hearndon bellows at the children, "Don't fucking climb IN MY GARDEN!" When one of the boys asks, "Can you please calm down now sir? You're putting him under pressure", Hearnden screams, "I will put him under pressure! I'll put you ALL under fucking pressure! Don't give me lip. DON'T! GIVE! ME! LIP! OK!"

Heardren is a fraud, rape and inquest specialist and the full rant transcript reveals some of the skills which helped him secure a conviction against the so-called 'M25 Rapist' in 2011. When the children call him "dodgy", Hearnden spots the trap and warns, "Don't do all this, 'we're little kids, you're a paedo' shit, I wasn't born yesterday". He also gets in the last word before marching off, telling the children that they're not getting their ball back. Although it's clear from the video that they have a spare.

After Hearnden's strop was picked up first by social media and then by the mainstream press, his chambers have now removed his details from their website. When RollOnFriday asked Furnival Chambers to confirm whether he was still a tenant, its clerks refused to comment. Meanwhile, the original video has been removed from Youtube, "due to a defamation complaint".

Well. Having seen a number of videos of heinous behaviour where the recording starts partway, I'm a bit cautious about rushing to pass judgement. It's interesting that the little s@&*s involved started recording and then did this whole "aren't we calm, please sir may we have our ball back" routine. I suspect a bit of winding up might have gone on when Heardren showed signs of being annoyed. Want to bet these are neighbours and he has a bit of a rep for hasty outbursts?

Certainly he should have tried to exercise a bit of restraint, but reasonably normal people (even barristers and solicitors) don't typically start off at level 10 in a conflict.

Transcript says he alleged burglary? Im not the criminal law specialist here, but entering a garden isn't burglary, it's trespass. Nice fella though. Community spirited type clearly... Lol

Really? Do kids nowadays actually speak like that?
