The finest Glamorous solicitors of 2015 were put to the vote at the end of last year, and RollOnFriday can now announce that the runaway winner of the competition is the glamorous Charlotte Proudman.

Proudman amassed an impressive 52% of the final vote, which RollOnFriday psephologists believe breaks down as 20% from regular readers and 32% from Mr Alexander Carter-Silk frantically clicking away.

RollOnFriday would like to take the opportunity to apologise for the eroticisation of Charlotte's physical appearance as a way of exercising power.

First: Charlotte Proudman

Meanwhile, Oleg Sukhov is finally able to breathe out and slip into something less comfortable as he gets second place with 30% of the vote.

Second: Oleg Sukhov

And Lorne Richmond gets third place with 18% of the vote. He will be accepting his bronze medal via a secretly signposted dead drop. You never saw him here.

  Third: Lorne Richmond

RollOnFriday contacted Proudman for a winner's speech but she failed to reply. Boo hiss.

The only slight flaw with this is that Charlotte Proudman is a barrister (and so possibly sees a Glamorous Solicitor of the Year award as being beneath her).

This just in *BREAKING NEWS* Charlotte responds:

Dear Mr Friday

I find your award offensive. I am in the legal market for the sake of my glamorous career, and not to be perved over by all the randy mid-card lawyers of your gutter press readership! In fact the eroticisation of a women's physical appearance is a way of exercising power over women, all women, but especially glamorous barristers like myself {pouts}. It silences women's professional attributes as their physical appearance becomes the subject; you would perhaps understand that if you have spent your time at University reading the excellent Female Eunuch, rather than all those misogynistic copies
of Readers Wives Legal Edition that you STILL clearly keep under your bed!

Unacceptable behaviour on your part. Think twice before awarding another woman such a sexist accolade. Not that any woman could ever hope to be as glamorous as me, of course, I am merely making a rhetorical argument against your male tyranny!

Charlotte

Good point above. CP is not a solicitor. Disqualified. So does second place become first?
