Half of the competitors have been knocked out of the Glamorous Solicitor of the Year 2017 competition.

As the dust settles after Round 1, and with over 2,800 votes cast, RollOnFriday must bid adieu to the six lawyers who collected the fewest.

With just 106 votes, it's goodbye to Julio and sadness.

    Taxi! for Wilhelm Taxis.

Tuure's voguish barnet was not enough to shave him from elimination.

Goodbye guinea pig, goodbye guinea pig's lawyer.

Hissing at the final tally, Chuck must retreat into the shadows from whence he came.

In a shock exit, it's goodfry to Jonathan Webb.

Webb missed out on Round 2 by just 14 votes after Francis scraped through in sixth place with 163. Now the counters are reset to zero and it's over to you. Only a trio of the remaining GlamSols can survive Round 2. Vote for up to three of them at a time, as many times as you like, before someone, perhaps your conscience, asks why you are frantically nominating a dishevelled Australian gentleman again and again.

First take a look at the contestants, who comprise a truly compelling collection of facebits:

Michael Edmund, Moss & Barnett   Mohammadreza Maleki, partner,
Gheidi Law, Tehran
  Timothy Francis, Plexus

Gregory T Rhone,
Velletta & Company, Canada
  Trevor Hauff, Trevor
Hauff Lawyers, Australia
  Jeremy Atkinson,
John Howe & Co Solicitors
