This week's Bonkers Law Firm Website uses an old trick to make their staff appear delightfully awkward.

By rolling the cursor over the face of their target, a visitor to the website of Hampshire firm Woodford Stauffer gets to see the lighter side of their lawyer. Unfortunately, Woodford made the mistake of providing no props or costumes. Instead staff were expected to communicate a sense of fun and personality by adopting a slightly different position. It's quite an ask, and the team absolutely fails to rise to the challenge. Entirely understandably.

Rollover to get Joanne's happy side.

Sally always cheers up after pivoting 30 degrees.

     The Clivebot powers up instantly.

Emma begs for a taxi on her pretend phone.

    Tea mime fun time

You don't get to become senior partner of Woodford Stauffer without having a pretty wild twist on I'm a Little Teapot.

  Will knows.

     So does Julie.

  On the 'ead, son.

Jon's secretary dislodges the bucket of flour and water balanced on top of his door AGAIN.

  We'll draft what Jo's drafting.

Heyyyyy - Luke's ready to talk death.

A solid start, Woodford, but do your minions a favour and break out the fancy dress box. If you've spied a characterful firm website, write in.

Do clients want their lawyers to be fun people?
Not in my experience.
They prefer grey, dull, boring but conscientious
