Erin Brockovich has been arrested for drunken boating.

The crusading attorney, who now works for Australian firm Shine Lawyers, was spotted at Lake Mead harbour near Las Vegas slapping her husband, throwing his mobile overboard and struggling to park her motor boat.

Game warden Kasen Haslem arrested Brockovich for boating while intoxicated after watching her bumping into the harbour wall and shouting that she wasn't very good at driving her boat. Breath tests showed her blood-alcohol level was over twice the legal limit.

Brockovich, who was bailed for $1,000, argued that she wasn't drunk in open waters, but conceded that "after a day in the sun and with nothing to eat it appears that a couple of drinks had a greater impact than I had realised".

Why do people care so much about locations/ grammar/ spelling on RoF?

Having read the comments sections the last few weeks, it is apparent that there are a lot of smart *rses out there.

Lighten up, have a laugh or engage discussion- worrying about which regional section of a website (a UK based website at that) a story belongs to or whether the plural is more appropriate than the singular is completely pointless; this website is meant to be a break from work, not a continuation of it.

If it doesn't end soon, we may descend to a youtube "your mum is a [ ]", "yeah well I will batter you coz I iz from [ ]", "its all [ ]'s fault anyway" style forum!
