A woman who assembled a terrible disguise to pose as her much older boyfriend has been arrested.

27-year-old Kayleigh Mendonca tried to withdraw $500 from her 65-year-old partner's bank account at a drive-thru branch of the IC Federal Credit Union in Massachusetts. Mendonca wore a hat and gloves and a fake moustache. A police spokesman said "the first clue that something may be not necessarily on the up and up” was when bank staff "saw the moustache falling off".

    Mission Impossible 5 was a let-down

A teller asked Mendonca to come inside the bank where staff immediately noticed that their big, old, male customer was five feet tall with a voice which fluctuated from low to high-pitched. When Mendonca realised her impersonation of a child in dad's clothes wasn't fooling anybody she fled the bank and drove off. She has been charged with (very bad) identity fraud.

Surely she should have toned down her eyebrows a bit? And, if I am not mistaken, isn't she wearing a bit of eyeshadow and mascara? Might pass in Essex, but probably not Massachusetts.
