How far behind City salaries do the lag? What can you expect as an NQ? Is salary only comparatively low for junior media lawyers. What can you expect at say 8-10 PQE?

they're a fraction of city salaries, even if you're looking at media city like Taylor Wessing / Lewis Silkin / B&B rather than Herbert Smith. While people can end up as (salaried) partner at 4 years pqe if they have a really hot client, but otherwise they tend to be on salaries lower than in house (for much harder work)
