It was my 25th Wedding Anniversary and Mrs PS and I were meeting for a celebration lunch. She had left he phone turned off and I couldnt get hold of her.
She said when I told her who had asked me to go to lunch that obviously I should have asked him to join us.
If I'd asked him to join us without checking, she'd have blamed me for ruining the day.
