Here on the IoW and fook me it was howling a gale all night and pissing it down. Now glorious sunshine and a gentle breeze.

My log delivery is pretty regularly straight after my first cup of coffee of the day, whatever the season.

Love autumn. But crisp “season of mists and mellow fruitfulness” not “soggy leaves, high booming winds and sideways rain”

I like autumn until clocks go back, then it's a bit dark too early. I do like the colours of trees as they turn (which seems v late this year, guess owing to the mild and wet summer).

when do you folks consider autumn as being? In my book it's mid-September to end of November, but I know technically that's not correct. 

I consider it to be from the first day like this to 1 December.

Sunny now. Lovely day. 

I would like an Autumn where it isn't consistently 10-15c and you actually can wrap up warm to walk to the pub without melting into a puddle of your own sweat. I don't think England has had such an Autumn in recent memory.

Certainly a good season for women’s fashion. Get to see some nice knee high boots, etc. Yum yum. 

I live for log delivery.

I've got some nice coats I don't get to wear over summer.  That's one plus.

And the weekend brunch bbq of bacon/soss sarnies in the sun after a long early walk. Best in October.
