The best British produced smoked lardons I have ever eaten

Come from Woodalls of Waberthwaite, puchased by me from Sizergh Barn in the South Lakes (known to many a roffer wandering North) and I know this because I have just fished the empty packet from the bin so as to know to get them again next time we go North.

They do have some mail order of sorts, not lardons as such, but some thick cut smoked streaky, probs the same thing. And smoked pancetta too.

I had not come across them before but they say they are the home of the Cumberland sausage - we like ours from Cranstons in N Lancs - maybe we should try them too.

…….End of PSA…..
