CBBC and BBC4 axed

Thanks Tories!

Because reasons. No seriously the tv licence prive has been controlled and the bbc would rather splurge their money on remoaner Gary lineker’s 1m plus salary rather than anything else.

BBC4 is a channel for great histo-docus you stumble across.  No-one will go seeking out the iPlayer on a whim to see if they have anything on breadmaking during the first world war.

What a shame jelly. I’m sure all those in extreme fuel poverty enjoy having to fork out for their licence fee on pain of imprisonment so you can enjoy your First World War bread making programmes.

They had already stopped commissioning new content for BBC4.

Worthy stuff like this is what the BBC should be doing. Stop making crap like Mrs Brown’s Boys and even Strictly - leave that to commercial broadcasters.

SHIFT WORKERS SHOULD WORK SHIFTS WHEN I AM IN THE OFFICE AT MY OFFICE DESK WEARING MY GREY SUIT WITH MY TELEPHONE WITH MORE THAN JUST 0-9  BUTTONS ON IT.  COLOUR ME GREY!

"no one adult needs to be watching tv between 330pm and 530pm"

Agreed, but I would say the start of Pointless at 5.15pm, which by coincidence is also the time for a glass of sherry.

BTW - talking of overpaid newsreaders, Huw Edwards looks seriously unwell.

I wonder which sycophantic princling or princess will be anchoring the Jubilee weekend?

Appaz Huw has finally wrestled the ‘London Bridge has Fallen’ gig away from Squire Dimblebore.

Have never understood why BBC salaries are not capped like the civil service.

Oh, but we would lose talent.

Fine, so train some more. Almost everybody in the country wants to be something on TV.

And stop trying to make Gordon Ramsey likeable and some sort of games show host. He is neither.
