Devi Sridhar just described the Scottish trace and protect as

"robust"

Robust!

The fuck!

She's a fucking monster

She won't ever be held accountable for it and indeed just launched a book off the back of it

And people are dying and many more people will end up poor for the rest of their lives

Thing is, offshore lads can't be stopped unless you stop offshore. Quite the conundrum.

She can try banning pub crawls but they'll just start using their barratt homes.

I'm generally inclined to give 'chair of global public health' the benefit of the doubt in assessing what is working to beat Covid

but

.......Edinburgh people are the fucking worst

I dislike her because she pretends to be neutral but says extremely political things

like

"Scotland is performing better because the people trust Nicola Sturgeon" (in a BMJ article)

and

"Scotland has a robust track and trace and thatis why numbers are low"

track and trace is a bollocks idea but there's a spectrum and we are not at "robust"

I think this is actually true, Sturgeons messaging is miles ahead of Boris, it's all we'll get through this and work together instead of Trump level we're world beating and triumphant, when you can plainly see it's not
