Chat to my dad a lot and the forgetfulness is quite helpful because it makes him tolerant of my circular thinking and repetitiveness
I talk a lot less about worries with friends than I did when I was younger. Find the laugh and you laugh with people and cry and you cry alone to be very true especially in transient anonymous London

Yes, lots of excess. Not sure where to put them!

At the risk of being horrendously sexist, but I do think women have a tendency towards overthinking.

Have you ever thought that maybe men don’t think about things enough?

I barely think about anything
Like I often spend hours just in blissful peace just being happy with no thoughts
Ignorance is bliss but it's also an attainable state of mind for the well trained
Could probably do with thinking more but then I'll be less happy and that doesn't sound good

Ckergs, if you are worried about some thoughts being lost to posterity, I suggest you (re) read samual pepys. Some things do not need to be recorded.

I think that often when you’re processing big stuff, you become more extroverted and talk about yourself more, because you have to.
A bit like that overflow drain thingie on a bath.

This is definitely true
And then it's a battle to try not to say things that are too much to say

I mostly just blurt things out to my Mrs while she's concentrating on things:
"What's made of nickel?"
"Do you think you can walk and do the floss at the same time?"
"Do you think Orinoco Flow was about Wombles Rapping?"
That kind of thing. She doesn't like me much.
