I think people who have taken the current vaccines but fail to keep it topped up will have worse immune responses than the never-vaccinated"

Pls can you say why you think that ?

which doesn't address durability of immune response, but does give a plausible explanation for why vaccine induced immunity is better mechanistically than via infection.
