Bee Gees did good stuff in the sixties and eighties.

Disco though sucks.

Programme both had and lacked imagination.  There were some interesting performances dug out, but the chosen acts were for the most part "who has been big in the last 60 years" rather than looking for iconic performances.  No SAHB?  No Cocteau Twins?  No Numan?  Nothing from Futurama?  No Stone Roses blowing the sound system?

And WHY choose THAT from REM?  They didn't do The Laughing Gnome for Bowie.

I know, but there were classic performances by acts that were better for that sort of affair than a mundane runthrough by a big name.  Craig David ffs.
