I’ve been thinking about this and I think RoF and an orange person could absolutely smash this.
Assuming no one in that persons daily life knew they were a roffer then you’d have an automatic and totally anonymous network of potential helpers and hideouts all over the UK along with a online way to post messages and info that would likely fly right under the radar.
For example the hunted person could simply post a thread on RoF very much alike a ROF drinx in x location today?
And could then use the private messaging feature on RoF to make arrangements with any RoF persons on that geographical location.
I can totally see this working very well unless someone decided they would prefer the reward.
I wonder if the whole prohibition on *outing* would hold.

The only difficultly would be that you’d need access to an internet enabled phone that couldn’t be tracked.

The U.K. version of this show was pretty good, although it made slightly too many assumptions / leaps of faith to compensate for the fact that eg the killjoy police didn’t really let them have access to the NPR cameras.
It was certainly fun scheming how you’d stay one step ahead. I was always wishing someone would deck one of the pursuers mind you.

This reads like a cry for help if ever I’ve seen one. I don’t know if your captors have hit you over the head or not but a working private messaging system? Contemplating trusting a load of Big Law lawyers not to betray you at the first chance of some cash?
If you want your reality TV option you should have gone Grand Designs.

There are a number of good people on here that I’d trust to help me.
certainly not all.. but enough for it to work. Even if emailing to nonny addresses rather than rof messages... which I’ve honestly never actually used.

Also.. I wasn’t at all suggesting that I’d be interested in being the hunted person.
more pointing out that RoF as an anonymous group of otherwise unrelated people with established code names and a means of relatively untraceable communications would be significantly advantageous in these circumstances.
