is there an (as close to impartial as possible) analysis somewhere on the benefit to the economy of non doms hanging around versus taxing them?
I suspect it might put a few execs off moving to the UK, the new immigration regime is already an absolute dogs breakfast to senior management used to being able to jump around europe at will and I can see a few people panicking that being moved to london will fcuk them on inheritance tax etc
that aside, there is probably a moral case for making the UK tax system fairer and the non dom regime is abused to absurdity (Philip Greene anyone)

Higher taxes on luxury goods.
