Thought this would be about the graffiti artist featured in The Apprentice a few years ago. Along with ‘Andre The Giant’ who apparently works down on the south coast
Fairly clear this individual should be killed. No doubt about identity; no ‘crime of passion’ moment. Premeditated murder. Instead he will grow fat on your taxes.
Oh that's hideous Porpoise. I mean, why would anyone go on vacation to Detroit?
But that aside - and it's truly a horrific story - the mother clearly has a mental illness. That's selfishness, lack of brains and empathy. Life in prison doesn't cure that.
I don’t think the woman in porpoise’s link is anything like “pure evil”, indeed I’m not sure she’s evil at all per se. However it is an appalling story, one that probably shouldn’t be publicised because of its great potential to cause misery, dismay and disgust
Its invitable that of the billions of people who have kids some will be totally incapable of protecting and caring for their young. It was ever the case and always will be, also will be true of every other species I would imagine. Totally impossible for 99.9 per cent of parents to understand, but there it is.
I am happy to pay taxes that are spent on imprisonment and the privilege of being part of a society that doesnt airbrush out its failings by killing killers as some sort of ultimate illogic.
I haven't read the story but, given the reactions of certain posters, I'm going to hazard a wild guess that the victim was white and the perpetrators weren't.
This reminds me of similar situation I was in probably 25 years ago in a night club. I accidently brushed into some bloke causing him to spill a bit of drink. I apologised and offered to buy him another but he just ranted so I said something along the lines of "if you are going to be like that about it you can fook off" and then walked off. Later several people came up to me saying this bloke and his mates were "tooled up" and "looking for me". I didnt take it entirely seriously but took the precaution of leaving the club PDQ. Stories like this make me glad I did.

Utterly bizarre spending two days tracking down someone who walked past you.

Seems unlikely. The only people who get fat on British taxes are the tories and their cronies & donors.

There was a similar story in UK not so long ago: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-58102792 Mum only got something like 9 years.

Would prefer to see compulsory sterilisation in these cases rather than imprisonment.

Jailed for life. But what will that mean?

The footage in the club of the murder is sickening. Imagine your child being there as an onlooker. Utter scum.

By that (il)logic, I shouldn't be sent to prison for keeping someone prisoner.

Great to see it’s a joint enterprise case, despite the SC’s silly decision, a number under Lady Hale where it went wrong
