I would say St Johns Wood. It has about 2 utterly terrible pubs which is an appalling state of affairs for an area of London that contains a national sports ground.
St Johns Wood is one of the finest parts of London, sadly almost completely overrun these days by Arabs in blacked out windowed 4x4s, houses with bars on the windows. Tragic.

Clapham old town is a lovely place for a pub crawl. Unless you just hate the people who live there.
