Thanks to the reader who sent in a photo of an outstanding typo spotted at the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.

The SDT's courts and offices, based at Ludgate Hill, are undergoing a refurbishment which includes painting a list of the building's tenants on the door in a fancy gold font.

At the risk of making a rod for ROF's own back when it comes to typos, see if you can spot the errors:

At least it wasn't the STD and PGI Grope.

"Do you think the people responsible for this will be "disaplined?" pondered the source.

And it's not just the SDT that was put in the decorators' blender. As well as welcoming people to the "Solicitors Disaplinary Tribunal", the hapless contractors also misspelt "PGI Gruop".

"We are aware of the error as regards the signage at our new premises not just in relation to the SDT but also in relation to the first floor tenants PGI", said Deborah Baljit, SDT CEO. "We have alerted the contractors to the same and it will be rectified as a matter of urgency."

The SDT has been known to take a hard line with solicitors, but it is not known what punishment will be meted out to these offenders. A source suggested that the tribunal will amend the error under the Slip Rule, so the erroneous letters should be 'struck off' the door soon (apologies).

There have been plenty of fantastic legal typos over the years, including the smutty, awkward, puerile, viral, generous or potentially incriminating.

And during the lockdown readers provided a fantastic selection, which you may peruse here and here.

This is what fourteen years of Tory Rule and austerity in our schools has cost us.

You wouldn't get this kind of thing in Belgium.

No wonder England voted Leave. It's mainly down to the level of education of sections of the electorate.

This sign writer will be contracted to a County Court somewhere.

If this was down to Tory rule and the Leave vote, surely the people responsible would be 14 years at the oldest? Since it was labour in power from 1997 to 2010 iirc.

Unless this was child labour in effect, which is more tragic than funny, the people responsible were raised under Tonibler/Brown.
