I bought my friend a cameo birthday wishes and went down a rabbit hole looking at some of the people on it. Did you know you can get a pep talk from Chuck Norris?
Also, the pricing seems odd, some really minor actors are asking hundreds and some well known names 40-60 quid?

when it first launched, I wanted to see if Richard E. Grant was on there for a birthday gift for a friend. He wasn't (at that time)
It does smack of desperation for cash though..

On pricing I think some people don't mind doing it/get a bit of a kick out of thinking they will make a fan smile and for others it is more of a chore so they charge more.
It's quite a cool thing. I don't really get it personally but I have seen some people be absolutely over the moon when some childhood celebrity crush blows them a kiss or whatever.

My mate got me one from Kerry Katona asking if I wanted Alan...I'm still unsure of whether she was actually serious but I haven't yet followed up
