How old were you when you had your first baby?

Happy Birthday to Laz Sprog No. 2, m8.

I'm 35 and not in a long-term relationship, so fatherhood is still a long way away for me.

But while I was at Tesco yesterday, I picked up a sperm testing kit. The results said that my swimmers are pretty much dead. So I'm going to do what I do best and completely ignore this horrific bit of news and deal with it in the future at some point.

I wouldn't write your life off based on a take home kit

you can probably take some vitamins to perk things up

having children looks awful, though (better for men than women tbf)

22. We have been married just over a year and our 1st wedding anniversary was the day the NHS showed us around the maternity wing, it is one reason I will have , if all goes well within the next month, have  4 grandchildren at my relatively young age.

22, 24, 26 and 36, 36 (last one was twins)

I'm a bloke. 36. Then 38 and then again at 43. Last one doable, but notably harder work physically if (as said above) less draining mentally as I edge my way towards a faint level of basic parenting competence that I should have attained a long time ago.

In retrospect wish I'd started about 8 years earlier. But what a pointless thought.

I had no idea you could get a test in Tesco that says how good your swimmers are

Adoption and fostering always options for those who can't conceive 'naturally'

Although a test from Tesco doesn't seem too reliable tbh

Was it a Tesco Finest version?  Comes with some top quality porn and a lovely artisan ceramic jar to "donate" into
