A gesture that says “as he/she/they were saying a moment ago”. Don't most non-MAGA people with some knowledge about Trump believe (or know) that Trump is a criminal? Whether or not he is a "hardened" criminal is perhaps a matter of judgment but not really too much of a stretch.

Is prison time necessary to be a hardened criminal?
I mean Al Capone didn’t do prison time till quite late in the day.. was he not a hardened criminal?
Lots of the mafia bosses never do time.. does that mean they are soft criminals?
In my view a hardened criminal is one that has complete disregard for the law.
Whether some is legal or illegal is irrelevant. They are just going to do whatever it is they want however they can make that happen.
