one party to a transaction has spent a week or two jumping up and down and handing out ultimatums including that it must be done by the end of the week or it's all off only to then not be ready to meet their own deadline.  That is precisely what has happened today and I've spent all day waiting for the top of the chain to confirm they are ready to exchange when they are the ones who set the deadline of 5pm today.
