We would like to cordially invite you and your firm to attend our “Full Length and Fabulous” black tie, elegant charity ball in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer (Charity Number: 1062636) on the 2nd October 2010 at the Waldorf Hilton located in Covent Garden. It is to be held during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and hosted by a team of trainee lawyers.
The evening is planned as follows:
7:30 to 8:00pm Sparkling wine reception with pianist and jazz band at Palm Court
8:00pm to 8:15pm Short welcome from Breakthrough Breast Cancer representative
8:15pm to 9:15pm 3 course Dinner with tea and coffee
9:15pm to 10:00pm Guest speaker
10:00pm to 10:45pm Auction with celebrity auctioneer Russ Williams
10:45pm to 12:00am Dancing with a DJ/Band
Carriages at 12am
Not only will the evening be one of enjoyment, the underlying moral will be to help change lives and to pave the way for permanently removing the fear and distress of discovering cancer and knowing it can eat your life away.
The event is about those who suffer from breast cancer and those who have loved ones who have or are suffering from it. Although there are a lot of worthy causes out there, we have chosen Breakthrough Breast Cancer and we intend to do it justice by creating a spectacular, stylish evening for our guests and concurrently creating funds to contribute to our chosen charity.
We aim to raise at least £3,000 through the auction, which in itself will be a “breakthrough”. If our overheads can be covered by sponsorship, then all of these contributions will be directly to our charity of the year.
TICKETS
The price of one ticket is £95. If you would like to buy a table for ten people then the price would be £850.
The evening is for sophisticated lawyers who largely are located in London, however we invite you to buy another ticket for a partner.
The methods of payment accepted are as follows:
a) Cheque (preferred method – made payable to Jaspreet Mann who is authorised from Breakthrough Breast Cancer)
b) Cash
Team members are available to collect the payment from offices and times can be negotiated.
We would also like to request that we are given permission to place our “Full Length & Fabulous” posters in staff rest areas so we can advertise our event or the poster is sent to staff members via email.
