I've recently been turned down by the SRA due to a misdemeanour committed many years ago so I can't get onto the LPC. Therefore I'm looking at different career options but wondering what answer I should give to the inevitable question of why after having completed a law degree do I not want to be a lawyer? Can anyone out there give me any suggestions as to why someone would not want to become a corporate lawyer?
