RollOnFriday apologises for blowing the cover of the covert cop assigned to infiltrate the party.
Police have broken up an illegal party under DLA Piper's City office, RollOnFriday has learned.
Youths gathered in the car park beneath the firm's London office last Friday evening.
As teenagers fled the scene, City of London officers caught two 18-year-old women and fined them "for a breach of the COVID-19 regulations, as they’d left their home without a reasonable excuse”.
A source told RollOnFriday the Covid-busters were skaters who left "in a happy haze of smoke", and that, "whilst the firm’s lawyers churn the hours in their garden sheds in the Shires, London’s skateboarding fraternity has taken up residence".
Attendees on wheels appear to have got away too quickly for the police, whose spokesperson said that when officers arrived there were no skateboarders to be found.
A DLA Piper spokesperson declined to comment on the incident, as "it’s not actually a DLA Piper car park", but owned by NCP. Still, said a source, "Food for thought though if DLA are exploring ideas for a right-on, all expense-spared partner away day this year".
Rogue skateboarding gangs fleeing the authorities through underground car parks is a powerful vision of society after a few more months of pandemic restrictions. For some it may be preferable to Zoom meetings, homeschooling and sourdough starters.

Life is shit for teenagers. Stern telling off required, but nothing more...

Well it's good to hear that the trainees are still managing to socialise with the rest of their cohort I suppose.
Just so long as they were all wearing masks.

Do you not realise that teenagers live with adults? The teenagers spread COVID to each other, they return home, the parents get it.
Teenagers care even less than adults about a "stern telling off".

Clearly the only solution is for the teenagers to live on the streets forever.
It's what any responsible government would do. I bet the Europeans have been doing it for weeks and are all laughing at us for being so slow to herd our teenagers into giant shanty camps.
The Evil Wicked Tories have blood on their hands, I'm telling you!

@Bounty Hunter, is a trip to Australia supposed to be a disincentive for a skateboarding, pot smoking British teenager?
