A video of a rodent running free in the student canteen at the College of Law in Moorgate is doing the rounds on YouTube.
The video, sent to RollOnFriday by a concerned student, shows a group of law students hunting down the wee tim'rous beastie as it flees behind bins and vending machines and course manuals. Suddenly it re-emerges, causing great shrieks from students and studentesses alike.
Given that the College of Law charges £11,250 for its LPC, students might reasonably think that it could run to a couple of traps and bits of cheese. Or even push the boat out and get a cat.
A spokeswoman for the law school said that "the mouse in the video seems to have slipped through the net but we called in the pest control firm on the very same day that we saw it. We have had no sightings since that time."
