TLT has been revealed as tight-arse of the week, after asking an associate's future employer to cough up for their practicing certificate. The future employer (and possible future client) wasn't greatly impressed at the firm demanding the money - and threatening to go after the individual it it wasn't paid. A spokeswoman for TLT said this was common practice throughout the legal profession but "the feedback we've received highlights the need for us to perhaps review our approach". Correct. |
