One for Cam

There is a higher power.

For three years I have been slightly miffed by the tachometer in my e-type which has refused to work. I took it out, bench tested with the correct negative earth and a gradual power increase and it was perfect. Put it back in, nada. Checked all contacts, sender, wiring loom etc. no dice. Ignored it. Who needs a rev counter? I can hear the engine anyway.  So it stayed.

This morning I went out and stap me vitals, butter my tail and call me Daisy, it’s working fine. No reasons given.

Now, if it could just remove the seats, undo the diff mounting bolts, detach the handbrake cable and prop shaft, remove the rear exhaust section and undo the IRS unit mounting bolts, detach brake lines and drop the who suspension and rear drive out then strip down, upgrade discs and calipers, replace hub bearings and refit, that would be ace.

there was a car dealership in Leyton who had a mint low mileage E type in his showroom that he used to block in his mint low mileage Sierra Cosworth.. he reckoned thieves would want the cosworth more..
