The Law Society's Head of Communications has resigned.

Graham Capper took the role to manage PR for the Law Society in 2011, and he must felt like he was in a waking nightmare since then. Over the course of his tenure the Law Society has come in for unprecedented levels of flack from members furious at its apparent surrender to the government's plans for legal aid cuts, culminating in a vote of no confidence in the Law Society's leadership, which the Society lost.

It remains to be seen whether Chief Executive Des Hudson will follow his messenger's lead. At the time Hudson insisted the vote was not binding and that he wouldn't be going anywhere.
