The Amsterdam District Court appointed Mr. E.W. Baart at van Diepen Van der Kroef on November 9, 2010 as liquidator of Innovative Financial Strategies Group SA (IFSG). The bankruptcy was requested by the Public Ministry (Public Prosecutor's Office) which is investigating a worldwide massive investment fraud. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office 1150 global investors were affected by this fraud. The activities took place from "boiler rooms" at various locations in Amsterdam. The Public Prosecutor's Office estimated the damage suffered by investors around EUR 38,000,000.00. The trustee will identify and investors look for redress.
