Emmett London was launched in 1992 by tailor Robert Emmett and in its relatively short lifetime it has spawned 3 stores which stand proudly on Eldon Street (The City), Jermyn Street (West End) and the King's Road...add all three of these together and, from a shirt making point of view, you have location, location, location.

The genesis for this brand was its King's Road establishment, which proved hugely popular due to the demand for high quality tailoring, fine cloths and an attention to detail which gives Emmett shirts their individuality; the first thing you'll notice are patterns on the reverse of the cuffs which contrast the shirt.

The Emmett shirt was so good, Tom forgot he needed to wear anything else, much to the shock of his trainee.

What sets Emmett apart from the competition is that the shirts are the antithesis of mass production. They are limited to a production of just twenty five of each shirt which means that you've got more chance of winning a tenner on the lottery than bumping in to someone with equally good taste wearing a shirt of the same design. Unless of course they're wearing a cheap copy, but let's not imagine that.

Now, we know you Roffers come in all shapes and sizes and we wouldn't be recommending these chaps if they couldn't cater for all. So fear not as their shirts are cut in slim fit for the malnourished half of you and regular fit for the more portly half. We'll give you one guess as to which side the we  fall in to.

To back up their fine range of shirts, you'll also find that Emmett produce an equally exclusive line of accessories, which include, cufflinks, ties, handkerchiefs and underwear. This really is sartorial heaven for the City lawyers among you.
