And they've brought meat with them... which is handy as we're peckish.

In Kurz and Lang we have found our favourite German export since our mate Joel introduced us to the finer points of adult entertainment when we were 15. We're not sure why our mind automatically moves closer to the gutter when we are faced with a menu full of sausage, but we apologise in advance (well sort of advance).

Anyway, K und L bring more than traditional sausage with them - they bring that great German stereotype of ruthless efficiency. From just a cursory glance at the menu, that is immediately clear - you're given a choice of 5 sausages (currywurst is our current favourite), drinks (beer or otherwise) and sides (think sauerkraut, bread and chips).

Simple see? But therein lies the genius. They clearly put more thought into their food than they did their menu and our contented gut thanks them immensely. Full of flavour and reasonably priced. It's all we ever ask for.

Ahhh... final review of the week done and we didn't even mention the failed 2018 bid which made us so angry we cried for 2 hours straight. It still hurts.
